Here it is, in all its AGP Turbo glory. Introducing the fastest spooling, killer
power turbo upgrade for your Dodge Neon SRT-4.
Everyone loves to ease of the "Big M's" Stage 3 turbo upgrade but
the power, availability, and upgrade-ability has always left a little on the
table so to speak. Here is the answer to everyone's wishes, and of course it
comes straight from AGP Turbo. For the last year, we have been developing and
testing numerous turbo combinations that give you exactly what every SRT-4 owner
has always wanted.
The Stage 3 Delta from AGP is just like all of our other available turbo kits.
This turbo is much like the "Big M's" but you get better boost control
via an external wastegate. 15-20% more power right out of the box, exact spoolup
as the "Big M's" Stage 3, and future upgrade-ability with our larger
turbos that we've always offered. Oh, and the best part is not waiting months
to receive your kit once it's ordered.
On cars with the basic bolt-on upgrades, we see ~350wtq and ~350whp at 20psi
on pump gas. Click the bost up to 24psi and see ~380wtq and ~380whp still on pump gas with the 40lbs/min wheel. The 44 and 48lb wheels will deliver a hair more power at those boost levels.
We are offering three different compressor wheels rated at 40lbs/min, 44lbs/min,
and 48lbs/min. Depending on what your overall power goals are, you can select
the Stage 3 Delta combination that suites your needs perfectly.
We have now released larger Delta Turbochargers to help meet the needs for
those wanting even more power. Here is the "play by play" details
of all of the AGP Designed and Built in house Delta Series Turbochargers.
Delta 40: This is the base turbocharger in the Delta series of
turbochargers. This is the best alternative to Mother Mopar's "Stage 3"
turbo kit for those wanting to get the quickest spoolup possible in any standard
bearing turbocharger but have the ability to hit 400whp. We build this turbocharger
with AGP's cast housings to provide the best spoolup and overall power for a
turbo this size. This is offered in a .48 A/R turbine housing. Full boost at
a hair over 3000rpm in a standard bearing configuration. Stage 2 injectors with
a return line is sufficient to max this turbo out on race gas.
Delta 44: This is by far the most popular of the Delta line of
turbos because it spools up nearly identical as the Delta 40, but gives you
an extra 40whp on tap over the Delta 40. 440whp is the max on this turbo and
it's an excellent alternative to the "Big Wheel Stage 3" options from
other companies. We offer this turbo in the AGP cast .48 A/R turbine housing
and stock engines can handle this power level. 650cc injectors and a return
line is sufficient to max this turbo out on race gas. 750cc injectors without
a return line will also get the job done. This is by far our favorite turbo
combination and all of our customers love it.
Delta 48: Now we are starting to get into the larger, more serious
turbo. The Delta 48 will spoolup around 3200-3300 rpm in the AGP .48 A/R turbine
housing but sometimes will have a tendency to surge under certain conditions.
Most people who run this combo never notice any surging, however we do give
this disclaimer just in case. If you're worried about surging on a turbo this
size, we recommend going with the Delta 44. We can do the Delta 48 in a .63
A/R turbine housing to eliminate the possibility of surging, however it will
increase spoolup time to around 3500rpm. 480whp is the max this turbo can run,
and we would recommend a built bottom end and 750cc injectors, return line,
and bottleneck mods to the fuel pump.
Delta 55: This is one of the latest and greatest bad ass turbos
developed by AGP. This turbocharger is built in the AGP cast .63 A/R turbine
housing and offers full spoolup around 3500 rpm. Max power on the Delta 55 is
550whp. We highly recommend a built engine, headwork, and all the necessary
supporting mods to go along with this turbo. The turbo is very comparable to
the power potential of a Borg Warner S256, however it offers quicker spoolup
and lower cost. The turbo is built with a 4" inlet turbo compressor so
you will need a 4" intake or a 4-3 reducer to run this. 750cc injectors
or larger, along with proper tuning tools, with a dual fuel pump setup will
be needed to see the complete potential. 128-130mph trap speeds is the norm
from those who have tested this turbo from us.
Delta 65: This is a serious turbo, and in a standard bearing
configuration full boost is achieved around 3700rpm. We build this turbo with
a 4" inlet 2.5" outlet ported shroud compressor housing and the AGP
cast .63 A/R turbine housing. You will need a 4" intake or a 4-3 reducer
to run this turbo. You will also need to modify your factory hot side charge
pipe to adapt to the 2.5" outlet. 35psi of boost will output 630whp and
37psi will max this turbo out at 650whp. 137-140mph trap speeds have been seen
with our beta testers on this turbocharger and is a great alternative to the
GT35R. This turbo is just plain sick and if you're crazy enough to run it, you
will see that it's all business. Fully built engine, every supporting mod possible, dual fuel pumps, 1000cc injectors, and a standalone engine
management will be needed to see the potential. We recommend talking to an AGP
Professional when choosing a turbo of this size. Many people think they need
600+whp, however they often overlook what's truly needed to make that kind of
power.
Twin Ball Bearing Options: Over the past two years, we have been
developing and testing our own in-house built ball bearing CHRAs. With the Delta
Twin Ball Bearing you will get increased durability due to our design that no
longer needs a thrust bearing. You can literally beat the ever living hell out
of one of our Delta Twin Ball Bearing turbos and you'll be impressed. The TBB
option will include our hard waterline kit and all the necessary fittings to
run the water-cooled bearing housing. You will notice an average of 200rpm quicker
spoolup of the TBB turbo over our standard bearing turbos, along with the increased
thrust load capacity, and almost instant transient response. If you've got the
money to spend, all of our testing pilots have said it's certainly worth the
money.
The AGP S3D includes the following components:
AGP Turbo kit with customer selected Delta Series Turbo, AGP T3/T4 manifold,
AGP-38mm external wastegate, stainless steel dump tube, 3" stainless steel
O2 housing, oil feed and drain lines, gaskets, nuts and bolts, Stainless Steel
heatshield, overflow bottle.
Modifications Needed to run these:
-3" intake
-External Blow Off Valve Setup
-Fuel Upgrades
-3" exhaust
